Suffering a brain injury or stroke is an overwhelming experience that takes from you a sense of control, over your physical and mental health, and overall well-being.
Come learn how to speak up for yourself or the person you are caring for and empower yourself to get what you need at the right time for the best recovery.

Presenter:
Wendy Johnstone coordinates the Community Navigator Program at Nanaimo Brain Injury Society for people affected by brain injury and stroke. With a Master’s Degree in Gerontology and close to 20 years experience in case management, system navigation and stroke, Wendy is passionate about supporting family caregivers and the people they are caring for in making informed decisions.

This workshop is free for people with acquired brain injury/stroke, and family caregivers.
